Pioneering Energy Solutions: Tetracore Partners with Dangote Cement for Auto CNG Supply

In a strategic move to drive energy innovation and sustainability, Tetracore Energy has announced a groundbreaking collaboration with Dangote Cement to supply Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for the automobility sector. This partnership marks a significant milestone in Nigeria's transition to cleaner energy sources and underscores the commitment of both companies to reducing carbon emissions.

The agreement focuses on leveraging Tetracore's expertise in gas distribution and Dangote Cement's extensive logistics network to ensure the efficient delivery of CNG for transportation. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Tetracore's CEO, Mr. Olumide Adesanya, stated, "This partnership is a testament to our shared vision of creating a sustainable energy ecosystem in Nigeria. By providing affordable and cleaner fuel alternatives, we aim to support the government's energy transition agenda."

Dangote Cement's Executive Director of Operations, Mr. Joseph Makanju, highlighted the importance of the collaboration, noting that it aligns with the company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals. "Our logistics fleet is one of the largest in Africa, and transitioning to CNG will not only reduce operational costs but also significantly cut down on greenhouse gas emissions," he said.

Industry experts have praised the initiative, citing it as a model for public-private collaboration in promoting sustainable energy solutions. The partnership is expected to create new job opportunities in the gas value chain while fostering technological innovation in the energy sector.
